HOW TO
GET HERE

BY CAR

Albury Estate is located close to Guildford, with access via surrounding villages and local roads.

CAR PARKING

Parking is available at various locations across the Estate.

BY TRAIN

The nearest mainline station is Guildford, around 45 minutes from London. From Guildford, taxis are available and the journey takes approximately 15 minutes.

It is possible to walk from Gomshall or Chilworth stations. Both are small village stations, so if you plan to continue by taxi it is best to book in advance.

BY BUS

Regular bus services run along the A25 through Shere and into Albury, making travelling by bus a convenient option. While services are less frequent than trains, stops are well located for visitors.

ON FOOT OR BY BIKE

Albury is crossed by an extensive network of public footpaths and bridleways, making it ideal for walkers, cyclists and horse riders. The North Downs Way National Trail runs through the Estate, and the Downs Link begins nearby at St Martha’s Hill.

Albury Estate is a historic rural landscape with a network of public footpaths and open countryside. Many routes are unmade and may include uneven surfaces, slopes or stiles, with conditions varying seasonally and after rainfall. Visitors are encouraged to plan ahead and choose routes suited to their needs.
